This week we received the news that our sister Shirley Madany has passed away; her husband, Rev. Bassam Madany, regularly contributes to our magazine. We wish him comfort of God in the certainty that his beloved wife is now with our Lord. Let us pray for Bassam.

PRAYER REQUEST: application for second Christian compound in Qatar

Filipino Christians in Qatar have asked for our prayers concerning an application to the Emir of Qatar for a grant of land for a second church compound.

 

 

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus

 

Filipino Christians in Qatar have asked for our prayers concerning an application to the Emir of Qatar for a grant of land for a second church compound. The first compound is currently under construction and includes facilities for Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican and an Interdenominational group of Indian fellowships. Some of the facilities are complete and in use, notably the Catholic Church.

 

This new application is for a complex to meet the needs of evangelical Filipino Christians and like minded groups of other nationalities. It has been endorsed by the Ambassador of the Philippines. It has been submitted in the name of the Evangelical Christians Alliance of Qatar.

 

Filipino Christians in Qatar request our prayers that:

a.       Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifah Al-Thani will grant this request for land

b.      The complex under construction will be completed on time

c.       All Christians in Qatar will be able to meet for worship
